Good God it was awful. We were absolutely attrocious today. The thing that really smarts is that Hearts weren't up to much cop at all. They had two shots in the game (one of which Henchoz gifted away) and scored both. I think today's disgrace shows that we just don't have the cutting edge in pace and innovation in the midfield to put balls through to the strikers. With the crucial exception of Bellamy we don't have anyone who can put a dangerous ball reliably into the box. We had about a dozen corners today and not one looked like a goal would be made out of it. Questions also have to be asked about how long O'Neil can go on picking Thompson when he's clearly not been up for it all season. Fresh blood is needed soon or we will be nowhere next season. As it is we're going to have to do the Huns away now to claim the title, and the referees will do everything they can to bugger us up in every game from now on. By the way Hartson might as well have sat next to me in The Lisbon Lions stand for all the good he did on the pitch.
